One of the best things about being a photographer is getting to watch a family grow together. Being able to capture the pure joy on parents faces during the maternity shoot, the peacfulness and innocence of a newborn and the excitement of that same newborn when they taste their first bite of cake during their 1 year cake smashing session. I am so happy to have been able to capture all of these moments for this beautiful family. I can't believe it has already been a year since this sweet baby boy arrived! Happy Birthday Joaquin!
It's not very often that we get to play on the beach in the late afternoon in February! Beautiful, sunny, and full of silliness and life is how I can describe my latest family session. It was so fun just snapping away as this cute family played in the sand and laughed. I love that we were able to have the family dog along as well as Grandma. I love being able to get those special generational photo ops. Thank you to this adorable family for sharing the afternoon with me.
Toddlers and babies are so unpredictable. And if they are not wanting their picture taken....they won't have it taken! This is a known fact from most photographers. These sweet little sisters had some ups and downs the day of our shoot and I, along with mom had a vision in our minds on what we wanted from our session. And as quickly as the "no's" started...we started changing our idea of what we wanted to a more realistic idea of what we could accomplish! I think we managed to capture some beautiful images of these precious little girls. So sweet and innocent. Although we had our work cut out for us, I loved spending the morning walking through the woods with these girls and her amazing red boots she didn't want to let go of!
Caybri's first session with me was her 1yr cake smashing session. So tiny, a litte unsure but so stinkin' cute. The next time I saw Caybri she was 2, very shy, sweet and dressed amazingly adorable. This year Caybri is 3, still dressed amazingly adorable, full of spunk, talking up a storm and ready to take on the world. She was Miss Personality this time and I loved every second of her session. She went from little model to pirate princess, to being a bride and using her moms scarf as a veil and bird feathers she found as her bouquet. She married her Pop Pop in the middle of the road that day and was just as happy as could be! I love watching Candice (mommy) and Caybri interact. There is definately a bond that is undescribable between these two. Happy Holidays girls!
